We were just advised by Southwestern Public Health that we have a positive COVID-19 staff case at Seasons St. Thomas. The affected individual has not been in our retirement community since December 13th.
The health and safety of our staff and residents is our greatest priority and we are working closely with Southwestern Public Health. We are working collaboratively to conduct contact tracing; residents, you will be contacted individually if you are deemed to have been exposed. Residents who have been exposed will need to isolate in the comfort of their suites and will be tested for COVID-19.
Affected staff will also be contacted and advised to get tested. All team members are reminded to self-assess for symptoms and exposure risk using our screening tool before reporting to a site for their shift.
